Travel terms and conditions
Last updated: September 2026
Welcome to Favora Experience. By browsing or using our website, or by contracting any of our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
We recommend that you read them carefully before making a reservation or completing any payment.
1. General Information
Favora Experience is an agency dedicated to connecting travelers with various services, locations, plans, and tourist experiences in Cartagena and other destinations.
Through our channels, we offer information, consulting, marketing, and reservation management for tourist services, including accommodation, tours, activities, experiences, transportation, and other related services.
Some of the services offered are provided directly by third parties, who have their own operating conditions.
2. Use of the Website
The content published on our website is intended to provide information about the services and experiences available.
Prices, photographs, schedules, availability, itineraries, features, and other information may be subject to change.
The publication of a service on our website does not, in itself, constitute confirmation of availability.
Favora Experience may update, modify, or remove information from the website whenever necessary.
3. Reservations
Reservation requests are subject to availability and confirmation.
A reservation will only be considered confirmed once Favora Experience has received the corresponding payment or deposit and has sent the booking confirmation to the client.
The client must provide accurate and complete information to manage their reservation.
4. Payments
The payment methods available will be communicated by Favora Experience according to each service.
The amount of the deposit, outstanding balance, and payment deadline may vary depending on the service contracted.
The client must keep payment receipts until the service has been completed.
5. Prices
The prices published are expressed in Colombian pesos (COP), unless another currency is expressly indicated.
Prices may change without prior notice as long as there is no confirmed reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, the agreed-upon conditions and rates will be honored, except in situations where the provider establishes different conditions that have been previously communicated to the client.
6. Changes and Cancellations
The conditions for changes, cancellations, and refunds may vary depending on the service, provider, and rate contracted.
Before making a payment, the client may request information about the specific conditions applicable to their reservation.
Changes to the date, number of people, accommodation, activity, or other aspects of the reservation will be subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
7. Providers and Third-Party Services
Some services marketed by Favora Experience are operated by third parties, such as hotels, tourist apartments, restaurants, tour operators, transportation companies, vessels, beach clubs, and other service providers.
Each provider is responsible for the direct provision of the contracted service and for complying with the conditions offered to the client.
Favora Experience will carry out the corresponding procedures as an agency and marketing channel, in accordance with the conditions established with each provider.
8. Service Modifications
For operational, weather, safety, availability, or force majeure reasons, a provider may modify schedules, routes, vessels, activities, establishments, or other aspects of the service.
When it is necessary to make a modification, Favora Experience will communicate the available information and the alternatives offered by the provider to the client.
9. Weather Conditions and Force Majeure
Some experiences depend on weather, maritime, or safety conditions.
When an activity must be modified, rescheduled, or canceled due to conditions beyond the control of Favora Experience, the conditions and alternatives established by the service provider responsible will apply.
Force majeure circumstances are considered to be those situations that reasonably prevent or affect the provision of the service and are beyond the control of the parties.
10. Client Responsibility
The client must:
Provide correct information when making the reservation.
Comply with the established schedules.
Arrive at the indicated meeting points.
Respect the safety and conduct rules established by each provider.
Timely inform of any relevant condition or requirement for the provision of the service.
Comply with the specific conditions of the contracted service.
Failure to comply with these obligations may result in the loss or modification of the service, in accordance with the applicable conditions.
11. Minors
The conditions applicable to children and minors may vary depending on each experience.
The responsible adult must verify the age conditions, rates, restrictions, and service requirements before making the reservation.
12. Luggage and Personal Items
The client is responsible for their personal items and belongings during the provision of the service.
Favora Experience will not be responsible for the loss, damage, or misplacement of personal items when these events are attributable to the client or to circumstances beyond its control.
13. Photographs and Content
The photographs used on our website are for illustrative purposes and may differ from the service available on a specific date.
Where applicable, the specific characteristics of the service will be those informed to the client at the time of making the reservation.
14. Intellectual Property
The texts, photographs, designs, logos, graphic elements, trade names, and other content published on the website belong to Favora Experience or are used with the authorization of their respective owners.
Copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, or using this content for commercial purposes without prior authorization is not permitted.
15. Links and External Platforms
Our website may include links, references, or information related to third-party platforms and websites.
Favora Experience does not control the content, operation, availability, or policies of such external sites.
The use of third-party platforms will be subject to the terms and conditions established by their respective operators.
16. Personal Data Protection
The personal information provided by users will be processed in accordance with our Personal Data Processing Policy and the applicable Colombian regulations regarding personal data protection.
When providing their data, the user must consult the corresponding information regarding its processing, purposes, and rights.
17. Handling of Requests and Complaints
To make a request, comment, petition, complaint, or claim related to a contracted service, the client may communicate with Favora Experience through our official customer service channels.
Requests will be handled according to the nature of the service and, where appropriate, with the participation of the responsible provider.
18. Modification of These Terms
Favora Experience may modify these Terms and Conditions when necessary to update information, services, processes, or legal requirements.
The current version will be the one published on our website.
19. Applicable Legislation
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Colombia.
Relationships derived from the contracting of tourist services will be subject to the applicable Colombian regulations and the specific conditions of the contracted service.
